New Bedford is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New Bedford follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Like all market baskets, it's always entirely too busy, but it's generally worth it to fight the crowds. Wish some of the employees were more helpful though. After asking if they do custom meat cuts I was simply told, "We have some there," which didn't answer my question, nor was what they gestured to what I was looking for.

Don't like carts left in the isles not being stocked, unstocked food are just sitting in the isles making it very hard to get food in front of the carts. I do like a lot of the food that is offered in the store. I usually shop at Market Basket each week.

Today is Friday July 3rd I went to market basket around 20 after 11:00 to pick up two steak subs that I ordered and not only were they more busy than I've ever seen that store there was a line in the parking lot just to get a parking space but when I got inside I was greeted with a friendly smile then when I got to the market basket kitchen counter I was immediately greeted and asked if I hadn't called ahead and ordered which I did I gave them my name and they said that they were making it right then and it'd be a short wait I waited about 10 minutes I had my two subs I went over waited in line the line move fairly quickly considering how busy they were I was able to get in and out of the store fairly simple considering how busy they were I just got home and what a fantastic sub I got the steak and cheese and as always delicious absolutely delicious they were so overwhelmed and busy but they were able to get my sandwich made right away and with a smile and on top of it one of the best ones I've had yet thank you market basket kitchen for your sacrifice working on this holiday weekend and for feeding those of us that are trying to beat the heat today thank you

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the New Bedford Market Basket, and unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. I called ahead to order subs and was told they would be ready in 40–45 minutes. When I arrived to pick them up, I was told they had no order under my name or matching the items I had ordered. This is now the third time this has happened. Every single time I placed a phone order, I arrive only to be told they never received it and that I have to wait another 45 minutes or longer for it to be made. Once? Mistakes happen. Three times? That's a serious problem. To make matters worse, I always verify that I'm calling the correct location before placing my order, so that isn't the issue. The last time this happened, I spoke with a manager and was basically told there was nothing they could do because they were busy. This time, when I explained how frustrating it was, my concerns were brushed off again as if I had never placed the order. After expressing how unacceptable it was to expect me to wait another 45 minutes, they finally agreed to move my order to the front of the lineβ€”but I still had to wait another 20 minutes. If my order had simply been
